Welcome to the Saltare project! This blog is going to document, sometimes in great detail, my adventures in hunting down an older ski boat and turning it into the ultimate wake machine. The purpose of this project has multiple goals;
1 - Sharing of information
2 - Learning to DIY as many things as possible
3 - Keeping the overall project down to a modest budget
4 - Ending up with an incredible wakeboard boat without spending 25K+
My next post will go through the research I did to identify potential boat brands and models that would suit this purpose, and provide some details on some of the choices available.
